Upon engaging the services of the Refugee Clinic, our staff will help the Claimant locate an apartment, if required. The Clinic will also advocate on the Claimant's behalf with the Claimant’s Social Assistance worker to ensure fair and proper treatment and that all rights are respected. The Clinic arranges doctors appointments for Claimants and will locate English language classes, if required. The Clinic assists the Claimant with work permit applications, resumé preparation, opening bank accounts, and with school and daycare arrangements for children. The Clinic will also assist Claimants with the translation of documents into English and with interpretation services, if required.
